Course Details
This training is based on international OPITO standards, LOLER 98 and PUWER 98 regulations, guidelines supported by the European Union, Nigeria and other OIL&GAS developed industry countries. (UK SHE, AUWED, 95/63/EC) International certificates are issued on the basis of the OPITO approved course delivering program, on behalf of the name of the international training center.
Course Objective
At the end of this training, participants shall have knowledge of:
- Knowledge of the rigging principles
- general hazards and risks of rigging and lifting operations
- an awareness of relevant legislation and regulation
- And an opportunity to practice basic rigging operations following a lifting plan
Course Learning Outcomes
Award
An OPITO approved certificate will be issued upon successful course completion.
Target Audience
For personnel wishing to become competent in the Rigger role in the oil and gas industry, all personnel who are involved in Rigging.
