The NPORS Lorry Loader course is designed to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely and efficiently operate a lorry-mounted crane.

In this course, delegates will learn:

  1. Health and safety regulations and guidelines related to the operation of lorry loaders.
  2. Types of lorry loaders and their components.
  3. Pre-use checks and inspections.
  4. Loading and unloading procedures, including securing loads.
  5. Safe operation of the lorry loader, including crane movements, boom extension and retraction, and stability.
  6. Emergency procedures.
  7. Hands-on practical training, which includes operating the lorry loader under the supervision of a qualified instructor.
