Banksman & Slinger Course Description: This course is designed to reduce the risk associated with lifting operations, by identifying their own and other’s responsibilities for inspecting, assessing, selecting, and controlling lifting operations to the legal requirements.

At the end of this Banksman & Slinger Training, participants should be able to:

• Demonstrate competency on the use of lifting equipment safety in attaching and detaching loads correctly in accordance with the manufacturers’ guidelines
• Know load weight Interpretation in relation to industry standards.
• Confidently conduct the pre-use inspection for different lifting gears
